Accutane Day 39

I know i know, Ive been gone for two weeks, blah blah blah, but ill update you guys about that in a video later.
This is about my accutane.

Accutane Day 39
July 4th

Idk, If you can tell, but in my opinion it looks a lot better. The doctor says the first month is the worse, a lot of the redness in the picture is scarring; so im happy ive gotten past that. Im now breaking out on my jawline a lot and ive never broken out there. There are no HUGE blemishes right now, just little ones.

My dose has doubled to 40mg in the morning and 40mg at night-which comes with double the symptons.


Some symptoms im seeing:

-Sun sensitivity: im not sunburnt at all even after camp..but its really wierd cause sometimes i feel like i am, when i get in the shower i get the feeling that my skin is sunburnt even though its not..its wierd

-Skin sensitivity: sometimes when i scratch my neck it will hurt for a couple minutes, its really wierd

-Back aches: This has kinda gone away but the first week of camp i would be sitting up in my bunk and then when i would lay down to sleep my lower back would get a lot of pain! it would go away in one minute about..but it was really wierd and it hurt

-Im also starting to get acne on my back. I would never get that before accutane, and especially when i doubled my dose, it got worse. I showed my derm and he said that that sometimes happens with the treatment, but it should go away in a couple months...but i hate it lol.

-I have dry patches on my skin and my lips are super dry..but thats the usual.

still a lot of scarring on the cheek. some of those are scars, some are acne. it all blends in quite nicely...doesnt it? [:

breaking out in all the usual places..but im staring to break out most around my chin. which i NEVER did before.

Ok, I admit...I suck at updating [: haha.


June 5th.


Im still on 40 mg a day. Idk when he is gonna upgrade me though.

Im still using the ponds, cetaphil, and aquaphor.
My face isnt as oil, and it has some dry spots. Some days my face looks good. others it looks like a mess.

LIPS: my lips are definately getting dry. if i go for over an hour without putting anything on them, its horrible. i lick them like crazy to give them any moisture. so i need to start carrying around my aquaphor. they havent cracked yet though!

My scalp or anything else hasnt gotten dry yet. YAYAYY

Ive gotten a little sunburnt because i went running the other day, and i didnt wear anything on my face. but its pretty much gone now. but my skin is so sensitive to the sun.

I think thats about it.

Accutane Day 1

May 27th.

Ok, So I was gonna start an accutane diary in my videos- but then I realized I had too many other videos I needed to get up...so Im starting one up here...fair enough?

Ill just be posting what day im on, the side effects, how I feel, and how my acne is. I know that this is a 5 month long treatment; so I wont be seeing changes right away. I hope to educate you guys a lot about accutane, and if you have any questions, leave them below.



I normaly HATE pictures without my makeup..but I want to show where I started. I've had worse weeks than this, and I've had better...this is kinda in the middle.



This is mostly scarring on my cheek, but there are a couple breakouts there too. My main problem is on my cheeks.



I have a couple ones on my forehead that your cant see that well, and one or two on my chin.


This side of my face just recovered from a breakout. There were like 4 or 5 in a line across my face..BLEHH.



Right now im on 40mg per day. Hahahhahah I need to show you the packaging, because if you get pregnant while on accutane your child will have birth defects, so on every single capsule there is a picture of a pregnant lady with a line slashing her out. sheesh.

Right now I have oily skin, and I almost never get dry skin on my body. I occasionally get dry skin on my face.
Im using ponds lotion for dry skin for my face. And cetaphil for my body. Im also using Aquaphor for my lips. NOO CHAPPED LIPS WHILE ON ACCUTANE [like thats gonna happen]
